Transatlantic War Hero, Film Star & Air Racer!

Ferocious Frankie has fought in WWII, starred in Hollywood blockbusters and come 2nd in the Reno Air Races (without modification) having narrowly been beaten by a heavily modified, hugely more powerful machine.

From the 1980s to the present day, she's appeared in the five Hollywood blockbusters above, amongst a list of credits only beaten by MH434.

Every bit as irreplaceable as her hangar-mate, the Old Flying Machine Company still adopt a similar attitude to the way she displays; expect to see a demonstration as to why this aircraft averaged 384mph at Reno, whilst powered by an American made version of the Rolls Royce Merlin. Despite the thrilling speeds, one of the other traits of the Mustang is range; ably demonstrated by the fact that Frankie flew across the Atlantic on her way to movie roles, and an enviable place in history.
